The principal mission of the Center for Biomedical Research (CBR) is to facilitate clinical trials, research, education and community outreach in an effort to link therapeutic and diagnostic discoveries with clinical applications.

As a not for profit East Tennessee entity, the Center for Biomedical Research functions as the hub of a network of complimentary medical practices and ancillary services dedicated to researching, evaluating and testing breakthroughs in personalized medicine. CBR offers turn- key assessments on the safety, efficacy and clinical usefulness of investigational stage therapeutics as well as new in-vitro diagnostic kits and platforms.
